Entrypoint System

The entrypoint system is a high-level infrastructure provided by 1060 NetKernel Standard Edition. It allows a module to specify a set of important URIs which will be dynamically discovered when the module is loaded by the Kernel. Generally this includes documentation for the module but can also be used for applications such as installers.

The entrypoints system provides the basis for the searchable documentation. When discovered, all entrypoints declared as searchable documents, are added to the master document index.

The set of all registered entrypoints can be viewed and provides a central index of the system.
