Welcome to the 1060^® NetKernel^TM documentation. The objective for the documentation is two-fold. Firstly it provides a comprehensive tutorial to allow a developer, new to NetKernel, to rapidly become productive. Secondly it provides a reference work providing the production developer or system administrator with quick reference material - the search facility provides a comprehensive index through all of the documentation.

We have deliberately omitted technical marketing documents which present business and/or technical analysis for choosing NetKernel. If you require technical marketing literature for NetKernel please visit the 1060research.com and 1060.org sites.

1060 NetKernel is a commercial open source product. It is licensed under the 1060^® Public License v1.0. Our license is designed to encourage mutual open-source development, that is "we're free if you're free".

In many cases NetKernel is free to use however, if you cannot abide by our obligatory open-source model a commercial licencing option is available. Commercial licenses and support packages may be purchased from 1060^® Research
